Monitor & reduction of printing

The BPET central office and three of our schools currently work with Integrated Solutions Limited (ISL) to keep track and reduce printing consumption.

Staff have been issued with personalised codes which are input into the printers at the time of printing. Having to input a code to retrieve documents has the effect to stop pages left uncollected or sent to wrong machines, reducing non-necessary print jobs which are cancelled after a set period of time.

In addition to reducing the quantity of pages printed, the codes allow us to keep track of how much we print, and by partnering with ISL we can off-set our paper use by planting trees around the world. Plans are in place to roll out this programme to all schools.
