School Minister Praises BPET Schools For High Pupil Performance

We are delighted that Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP, Minister of State for Schools, has recognised the exceptional performance of Braywick Court School, Deer Park School, Evendons Primary School, Rutherford House School and Whiteknights Primary School in last year's SATs (2022-2023).
The Minister specifically commended our schools' success in the Phonics Screening Check, multiplication tables check and Reading, Writing and mathematics Key Stage 2 assessment.

This prestigious recognition not only celebrates the hard work of our pupils, teachers and staff but also serves as a reflection of the success of the BPET educational model, as well as our commitment to fulfilling our vision.

We are incredibly proud of the achievement of all our pupils, and are committed to providing all the children we serve with the highest standards of education.

Phonics Screening Check

  • Whiteknights Primary School: 100% of Year 1 pupils met the expected Phonics national standard placing the school in the top 1% of all primary schools in England
  • Rutherford House School: 98% of Year 1 pupils met the expected Phonics national standard placing the school in the top 2% of all primary schools in England
  • Braywick Court School, Deer Park School and Evendons Primary school: 97% of Year 1 pupils met the expected Phonics national standard placing all three schools in the top 3% of all primary schools in England.

Reading, Writing, and mathematics

  • Whiteknights Primary School: 93% of Year 6 pupils met or exceeded the expected national standard of reading, writing, and mathematics, placing the school in the top 1% of all primary schools in England
  • Deer Park School: 90% of Year 6 pupils met or exceeded the expected national standard reading, writing, and mathematics, placing the school in the top 2% of all primary schools in England.

Multiplication tables checks

  • Braywick Court School and Evendons Primary School produced an average pupil score of 24.1 out of 25, placing them in the top 200 schools in England.
